While not recommend for everybody, some people find facing their phobias head-on the best way to break them. If for example you have a fear of enclosed areas or flying then do not put off your annual holiday, instead simply plough on and work through your phobias. Let the anxiety come to you and then in your eyes mind push your anxiety back away from you. Sounds simple?
This method sounds very simple in theory but in practice it can be challenging and as we said it is not for everybody.
